Ratel-X Industries® Jerry Can Cargo Mount Plate

The Ratel-X Industries® Jerry Can Cargo Mount Plate provides a secure and versatile way to carry fuel or water jerry cans on the side of your 4x4, overland vehicle or campervan.

The mount can be fitted to our Slimline Cargo Track or Round Cargo Anchor Lashing Points (sold separately), or it can be bolted directly to a suitable flat surface, giving you flexibility to suit your particular installation.

Manufactured from high-quality 3mm aluminium sheet, the plate features folded edges for increased strength and rigidity while keeping overall weight to a minimum. It is finished in a durable fine-texture black powder coat, providing a hard-wearing, easy-to-clean finish suitable for overland and off-road use.

Each Jerry Can Cargo Mount Plate is sold individually and supplied complete with one custom-made flat-hook ratchet strap to secure your jerry can.

Additional ratchet straps, Slimline Cargo Track and Round Cargo Anchor Lashing Points are available separately. Mounting fixings are not supplied, as the required hardware will depend on your vehicle and chosen installation method.

Rail spacing: Our Jerry Can Cargo Mount Plates have been redesigned to accommodate a range of vertical rail centres. They can be fitted to rails positioned at 455mm vertical centres, which is particularly suitable when mounting to the cavities behind the body panels of a Defender Hard Top, or to rails positioned at approximately 485–490mm vertical centres, which can be suitable for mounting over the side windows of a Defender Station Wagon.

The mounting holes are also horizontally slotted, allowing the plate to accommodate 400.0mm and 406.4mm horizontal mounting centres. This provides greater flexibility when fitting to different airline/cargo rail systems with rail hole pitches of 25.0mm or 25.4mm.
